Christenings, birthdays, communions, company lunches and long group dinners. The salón on the first floor takes the lot.
The room
The upstairs room has the fireplace, the windows over the plaza and enough space to put everyone on one table rather than three. For anything from a family lunch to a full company meal, it works better than the terrace — quieter, and nobody is squeezing past you with a tray.
Menus are arranged by phone. Tell us roughly how many, what the occasion is and what you want to spend a head, and we'll put something together off the card. Rice dishes, whole fish and boards of ham and cheese all scale well for a group; so do the desserts, which are made here.
Give as much notice as you can — a week is comfortable, more is better in summer and around Christmas.
